Youth Cost of Poverty Experience
Does your staff seem unprepared to deal with the effects that poverty has on children and their families?
Are you looking for new tools and best practice approaches to help close the achievement gap of students living in poverty?
Trauma Training (TBRI)
TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.
Community in Schools
In the U.S., approximately 1 in 5 children under the age of 18 live in poverty, shouldering more than they should have to. Communities In Schools works directly inside schools, building relationships that empower students to succeed inside and outside the classroom.
Growing up in poverty is one of the greatest threats to healthy child development. We believe that every child deserves a home. We define a home as a safe environment where one or more caregiver(s) are able to love and nurture their child.
